What data does it use?

End-of-day prices and indicators only. MarketKeel doesn’t chase intraday ticks, and it isn’t built to keep you watching a screen all day.

Do I need to connect a brokerage account?

No. You build your watchlist by adding tickers yourself. MarketKeel never sees or touches a brokerage account.

What actually triggers an alert?

A price level or a technical pattern on a ticker in your watchlist, confirmed after the market closes for the day.
